Wonderful Barcelona

Catalonia, on the Mediterranean coast, boasting some of the best beaches in the Country and some of the most interesting sights I have seen on my travels. Therefore I’m going to dedicate 3 posts to this region. The first stop being the wonderful Barcelona.. I’m going to move here someday!
Barcelona has so much to offer, no matter what age you are or what your interested in.
My favourite pastime has got to be wandering up the Ramblas early in the morning, watching all the stallholders and street artists get ready for another busy days work. Stop off midway to “La Boqueria” the largest indoor market in Spain and pick up some fresh fruit, bread and cheese to eat as you sit and watch the world go by.
A must do while in Barcelona is to take an open top bus tour at night. This will take you past all the landmarks, lit up like Christmas lights it really will take your breath away. You will see the “Segrada de Familia” the famous Gaudi Cathedral, the Palace at Montjuc, the wonderful dancing fountains at the plaza Europa…. Barcelona cannot be done in a day; in fact I’ve been there countless times and still not have taken in everything the City has to offer. Oh and make sure you visit Parc Guell.
